Chosen Solution
The current port will no longer establish a valid connection even when I use a new cable. I’ve purchased a New Charging Assembly from IFIXIT and I need directions to change it out. It is a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014, WiFi)

This one (which is actually to show how to replace the battery) is good because it shows how to open the tablet and also how to release the charge port flex cable from the systemboard.
