How do I reset. GE washer to pump 8feet?
Washing machines are not designed to pump water 8ft from the base of the machine. Most washing machines can pump water to a maximum of 39in standpipe. Check your manual. Cheaper machines may not even be able to pump this high. If you use your washing machine to pump any higher in elevation you will break the water pump on your washing machine and it will leak all over your floor. Make sure to check your manual.
