How do you fix the iPhone 4s No Service/Searching problem? What causes the problem? Please help. Thanks.
I fixed one with this issue today. It was caused by the blue inductor coil. I replaced it, and all is well.
A solution is to set the date and time manually. If you take out the battery on the iPhone (iOS 6.xx) the date will be 1970.. :p When you have set the date and time, remove the sim card and put it back in.. This should work :) (you kan also connect the phone to the WiFi to automatically set date and time. Do the same with the sim card, when the time is right :) )

i took out sim turned off phone turned on and inserted sim the service was found (three) 2 bars then it went off searching again after resetting settings and repeating my first actions still the same held down the round button untill voice dial screen appeared then cancelled voice dial then my phone found network 3g and wifi and now works ok hope this helps somebody else thank you to previous writers for their guidence

My 4s Apple iPhone went into a searching and no service mode today. I contact my carrier att diagnostics were ran nothing happened. I was advised to go to an att retail store and have them insert a new sim, I did that. No service and searching continued. The att rep advised me to take to an Apple Store. I did not instead I went home. I telephoned Apple Store and was told I needed an appointment or either com in early close to when the store opens and I may get lucky to be on a waiting list. Oh I forgot to mention there weren’t any available appointments until Tuesday January 9, 2017. Hm this happened on Monday January 2, 2017. In the meantime as I spoke to the gentlemen at te Apple Store he ran diagnostics and wasn’t able to detect the issue. Later that night I decieded to reset the phone to the original settings. Later that night while had just fallen asleep I began to receive text Mssgs. I reached for the phone sure enough it was up and running, I noticed in the upper left hand corner on the screen it said 3G. Well anyway it’s working again and no one helped me but me. Just sayin!!! Therefore if you ever run into the issue of your phone searching/no service do not hesitate to reset back to factory setting that may very well correct the issue and save yourself some time. The defect in the absence of service is by placing the phone on the flight mode and monitoring the signal if it takes a relatively long time. The fault is in the Ic besnamtT responsible for the network frequencies. If the time for the signal to appear, the files and the rest of the circuit related to the service

You have to wrong your time on your PC / computer and open your iTunes on your computer and connect your iPhone 4sto the computer and try to correct your time both on your iPhone 4s and the same time with your computer please try this out it
