Chosen Solution
I have retake and redone at least one to two finger prints and still it blinks followed by red exclamation circle and locked out some of my apps because of this nightmare through the screen scanner, Verizon person set up my phone with screen protector and case which I’m happy with but is it the screen protector zagg invisible shield. Do I remove the screen protector or will it make a difference on reading the fingies!?
I have a Pixel 6 Pro with a screen protector on it. At first I was having difficulty with fingerprints getting recognized, but I deleted and reentered my fingerprints a couple of times until it finally started recognizing my finger reliably. I’m not sure if it’s that or the fact that I had to replace my screen protector at least once due to it getting cracked, but between those two occurrences it finally started working well. I do note that my screen protector actually has a clear circular area above the fingerprint reader that has a distinctly different appearance than the rest of the screen, presumably for the sake of the fingerprint reader.
