I need to open the HP 15-d00sl, but it has no service door.
Hi @magoo72 , Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop. It has all the information that you’ll ever need regarding removal / replacement (accessing) of the hardware in the laptop. It details the necessary pre-requisite steps and the procedures to remove all the components as well as the part numbers if you ever need to find a replacement part. Hopefully this is of some help. Update (03/16/2018) Hi @magoo72 , Well, this is the link where I got the service manual from. So perhaps HP has got it wrong on the webpage. Have you tried searching for the service manual on the HP website using the serial number or possibly the product number and not the model number? You could always try this service manual. It is for a HP Pavilion 15 (no specific model number though) and see if it helps in showing how to access the components in your model. If it doesn’t either then perhaps you may have to contact HP to try and get the correct one.
