This is a very common issue with aftermarket screens having a gap exactly near the top left volume button and silent switch side. Higher quality aftermarket screens do not suffer from this issue as I have tested with both high quality aftermarkets, OEM and refurbished original screens. These aren’t phones with dented in frames on corners or sides right? Yeah it’s to do with the aftermarket screen frame then. The issue is that the lower quality aftermarket screens do not sit / clip in with the iPhone metal housing frame properly. It’s probably to do with the thickness of the screen frame assembly, too thick would mean that it wouldn’t sit properly (flat on frame).
