I want to isolate my Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 by removing the wireless network card. Is that possible? Where can I find it? I don’t mind “breaking” the connections if necessary.
Hi @karu28 , The tablet doesn’t have a separate WiFi card. The WiFi / BT chip is mounted onto the systemboard. Here’s a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Motherboard Replacement guide which will help you to open the tablet if you want to check. Alternatively here’s a link that describes how to permanently disable WiFi without resorting to hardware solutions.
You need to post some pics of the board to see. Alternatively look for the antenna connections - in gold.
