Can anyone draw how the battery connector contacts? I can not make out the camera to see how the connector works. So I want to ask, when you press the battery on the contacts in the camera, the contacts move down, as shown in the picture. The fact is that the camera only works when I press and hold my finger on the battery. I press the battery inside the camera. Camera Panasonic TZ100.
Update (04/07/2018) there’s nothing inside! How is contact made?
@qim you are right about the way the battery connector works.You could definitely have trouble with your battery cover. If that metal on the door is not properly adjusted/installed or bend it may not supply enough downforce on the battery to close the contact. I’d either try a new cover or place some extra material on the back of the door or battery. Just enough to provide the extra pressure.
