Getting pink and blue lines all over, Apple technician said it is the display cable. Any advice? I am based in Barcelona.
Ouch! Not good Sadly, you can’t replace the cables in either the Function Key or Touch Bar systems! All you can do is replace the complete display assembly. Here’s a view of the connections:
In any case your cable is not the issue here any ways. Lines implies the LCD got damaged: a bang, dropped or something sat on your system. Time for a new display assembly - Sorry ;-{
