I recently bought a MBP used in which the keyboard was replaced under the replacement programme, Post that the person said the Microphone is not working. Would you guide me to open and check where the microphone is connected so i can check it on my own.
The microphone connector is on the far right side of the logic board.
This would have been replaced as part of the top case if the device was repaired by Apple under the keyboard program. So if it’s been since that and was relatively recently (within 90 days) I would take it back to them. But otherwise, replacement mic isn’t too difficult once you get the logic board out, the flex cable is just stuck to the top case.
