Hello, thanks for a really good resource of info about apple products. I found this iMac Intel 27" EMC 2429 Hard Drive Replacement My question is simple. For either you’ll need this: OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac 2011 Hard Drive Upgrade. I don’t recommend using software over-rides as time has proven they don’t work as well and if misused damage your system.
