I’m buying an iMac and i found one (its model A1312) that has Linux ubuntu installed. How would i be able to install mac os on this machine? Thank you in advance!!
There are 11 iMac that are A1312. They run fro 2009-2012. An emc # from the bottom of the stand would help us to identify it. Or you can go here and enter your serial number to find out exactly what it is. https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup… Once we know what systems your machine will take we can get you some option, from a possible DVD input to a USB external drive. If using an external drive you will need a bootable system on it. You will boot from the external, run disk utilities . wipe the internal drive and then install a system.
