my laptop screen having color problem , i connect the laptop to external display ANA i found that it working fine . so i change the screen cable and the problem still exists ! is it screen have to be replace or what ?
Hi, Try this test first to see what colour is faulty. Click on “Check pixels on my LCD” http://www.checkpixels.com Since you have changed the screen cable, with a known working one and the external monitor is OK, the problem does appear to be with the screen Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop. It shows how to remove the screen. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03… Here is the part number for your screen. 686921-001 Just Google it (just the number, nothing else) to get a list of suppliers. Hopefully it is of some help.
