Hi This time, I watched the repair video on Youtube and made my first self repair. However, after the replacement, no screen appears on the display I put this phenomenon on ifixit last time, and I received the kind answer that it carried out the repair with power on. I have posted a question for the same reason for this time. If I repair it while the power is on and it does not display on the screen, what parts should I replace? The backlight filter most likely needs to be replaced, what happens usually when the display is plugged in with battery still connected you’ll see a puff of smoke near the screen connector which indicates backlight filter blew. Try using flashlight on the screen and see if you can make out dim display from the flashlight. It will require someone with micro-soldering experience to replace that filter.
