Hi, I dropped my iPhone the other month and when i did i then stood on the camera which of course cracked my screen and disabled the camera and flash working, i then replaced the screen and digitiser, which worked perfectly but then i realised that the camera and flash were still not working. So i decided after researching for hours and hours on what to do i decided to go off what majority of people had said.. to order a new camera part. So i did, it came, i replaced the old one and STILL the camera and flash are still not working!! So what on earth could the actual problem be??? i’m desperate to get this sorted.
Regards and Thanks
When a phone is dropped anything may happen to parts or board circuits. Since the most obvious attempt to replace the camera was already done without fixing the issue, you likely have a board failure there that needs a microsoldering professional, with tools and skills to fix it. Other than that, you can ask for Apple assistance where you would probably be offered a replacement phone for a price.
