I press the timer button and the shutter button. The red light does not come on. I’ve pulled the battery and I’ve taken the lens off and back on that usually works when I have a problem? What am I doing wrong with the timer?
Hi, Have you ensured that you have turned the timer function on using the mode button? Here is an image taken from the user guide for your camera. Click on the image to enlarge it for better viewing.
Update (11/06/2016) Hi, Try pressing the reset switch, located on the bottom of the camera to see if this restores the timer function. Be aware that you will have to reset the date and time again after doing this.
