i have laser jet printer HP P1005 . connected to the computer but when i oder nothing happen ??

If you have never tried before, have you chosen the correct media in printer preference > Paper quality > The media Settings area? If the card stock is not listed, select the same type, such as an index card or brochure, etc., so that the printer “expects " paper is thick.
