I know, I’m really dumb. My phone fumbled and fell right into my three wick candle. I now despise that candle and the color green. The way it landed, of course, was charger port directly into the hot wax. I got most of it out but not all of it and can’t get any of it out of the speakers. Please help me and my stupidity.
Depending on how deep it went, it may make more sense to replace the speaker :-(. Wax sucks to remove - it’s just as bad as paint. There is no guide for the speaker, but you can reference the lightning connector guide to get an idea how to get to it. As a precautionary repair to avoid future issues, I would also change the port assembly as well - it may cause future issues if you leave it unaddressed, and it will happen when least expected and you are relying on the phone.
