My phone fell face down. the screen worked fine, but the power button wouldn’t work. I could only turn the phone on and off by using the screen. I tried to take the battery out so it would turn off all the way, but now it won’t turn back on.
When it impacted the ground it could have severed the cable going to the power button. You will have to replace that if you want to fix the powering off problem. Sorry i don’t have any other options but thats all you can really do in this case. Good thing is that cables cost very little so thats a plus.
