I dropped my phone down the toilet yesterday and everything was fine but the sound wasnt working , I went and tried the rice trick all night nothing made better , my home button won’t work now and sound still doesn’t , how do I fix this without taking my phone apart as I’m 15
Sorry about that Lucy, but water and electronics don’t fit well together. The rice trick is useless unfortunately, just a urban legend. To have a chance to recover your phone you’ll have to hand it over to a true professional for proper decontamination and repair. Find someone next to you who’s specialized in microsoldering.
