I dropped my phone and now the screen won’t respond to my touch except the bottom. I think I just knocked something out of place but I’m not sure. I want to fix it myself because I don’t wanna hear my uncle’s mouth about my phone being semi-broken again..help! Also, I already tried restarting it. Also is it possible for me to knock whatever is out of place into place??
There’s a pretty good chance that the screen was damaged by the drop and that would require a replacement screen. However, you may be luck and it could be a partially disconnected screen. So check out this guide and re-seat the screen connectors. Be careful when you do this and follow the guide to the letter, especially about disconnecting the battery first. If the screen is properly connected, and a replacement screen doesn’t solve the issue, then you have a logic board issue.
