Hi! I forgot my old iCloud password in the past, but I have new iCloud or Apple ID (I don’t know). iPhone updated and it demanded my password for my old iCloud. Can I connect a new iCloud account? Thank you!
Activation (iCloud) Lock is a very effective mechanism. If you are the original owner of the device and can prove it, then contact Apple Support (in store or via telephone) and they will remove the Activation Lock. If this is a second hand device and you have forgotten the Username and Password to your AppleID, there is nothing more you can do other than try to remember your password. You cannot use your new AppleID until you remove the old one from the device.
