I have an Xbox 360, had the mod chip and all, but they found me out through Xbox live and my mod chip got burnt, banned from Xbox Live and now it won’t play most original games. I just need to know if it can be fixed or do I need to buy a new 360?

Once ur banned, ur banned. No way of circumventing that. If u do decide to MOD another x-box, just be sure to “flash” the drive and you’ll prevent being banned again. Modifying without flashing the drive is pointless.
I believe there is a fix, but it requires a massive ammount of soldering, and annother xbox’s CPU key. When an Xbox gets banned, it’s CPU key (It’s unique ID) is what gets banned. This should explain it much better than I can.
Currently there is no way to unban your xbox. You either have to deal with no xbox live, or get a new xbox.
Sounds more like you are having issues with the box not reading games over the lack of xbox live. yes there is a fix but it is pointless unless you have another xbox’s that is broken that you pulled the keyvaults from prior to it not working. The xbox is not reading original games likely the laser has become weak look into “xbox 360 POT Tweak” to remedy the disc’s not being readable. also this will not fix the problem forever as the laser is coming to the end of its life and boosting the power will reduce its remaining life span look into getting a replacement drive for your xbox as it is only a matter of time until you will need to replace it. Drive replace is easy as when you buy a new drive you can just swap the pcb board in the new drive with the one from the old drive and you will be up and running right away ( no need to reflash the PCB with the motherboard matched keys.) They ban you because you aren’t really allowed to mod their devices and they’ll detect that. It’s best just to buy another since most other methods will also get you banned.
nope don’t think there’s a solution to it. u just have to buy a new console. but! for people who have the modified version then get the adopter for xbox 360 before joining xbox live. danial.sistanwala
