I had an Iphone that died in a matter of a couple of hours. So I replaced the battery but it still dies just as quickly. I am currently going through software troubleshooting and if that doesnt work I will do a factory reset. Also it charges VERY fast too. As in 30% in less than an hour. But that 30% only lasts 20 minutes. ANY help will be greatly appreciated!

I would be tempted to say: disconnect the battery connector, and examine around it using a magnifying glass. You should be looking for anything broken, missing. But that’s if someone previously worked on your phone’s internals. So did anyone do so? How/when/why did this issue happen or begin? Was the old battery swollen? Where did you get the replacement battery from? That’s because cheap/defective batteries are a dime a dozen, you should try a known good battery or purchase one from a reliable source.

I’m going to say the new battery is defective. For the price of an iPhone 4s battery I would get another new one and try it.
