A couple of days ago i replaced my charging port on my 5s now my touch id will not work.
It’s possible you damaged your flex cable, on your home button. Try putting the old lightning dock (charging port) and then see if the Touch ID works, to make sure the new lightning dock (charging port) isn’t the problem
Just do a hard reset (press standby button + home button till the phone restarts), it will start working. That solved the problem for me
For me it was the connection of the new lightning port assembly. Everything worked except the Touch ID. It even charged. I just connected the old one (Connection on the logic board and the Touch ID) and powered the phone on and voila the sensor worked. then I reconnected the new one properly and suddenly the sensor works! so check if the new assembly has a proper connection or reconnect it.
Hard reset worked for me. 100% functional with $10 charging port board (iphone SE)
