I replaced the lightning connector and now my microphone won’t work. Did I get a faulty part? The headphones (also a part of that piece) work ok, and the charger works about as good as it did before it was replaced (intermittent).
Small parts, such as charge port flexes, sensors etc. tend to have high defect rates; you probably just got a bad one. Contact your supplier/vendor and have it replaced.
