iPhone 6s sent in for repair, the fault description given is “Main Bat line is shorted | Probably PMIC is burnt” The phone is completely unresponsive - if the diagnosis above is correct - is the data definitely lost? was advised that they need to wipe the phone to repair.
No power management ic needs to be replaced for phone to work again. To get data back you fix the phone until it turns on.
