My phone dropped in burning pile, when i finally realized what had happened, i dug in the ashes and found it, the screen just slid off phone. To my surprise, my phone is still working, i have been getting notifications, and phone is ringing. If i replace screen should that be all i need to do?
Wow, sounds like you’re one lucky person! It’s definitely possible. You might find other issues once the display is replaced, like cameras or microphones, but I’m sure your display didn’t appreciate the heat. If you want, edit some pictures into your original post and we can have a look at the internals to try and determine how likely you are to encounter other issues. But it sounds like the logic board at the very least is functioning as intended.
