Chosen Solution
The original battery of my Mid 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro is totally gone (Replace Now). I would like to get a replacement and I’m considering whether I should wait for about 3 months (due to a ban on direct importation of lithium ion batteries in my country) for an ifixit battery from Europe through a relative on a short visit, or buying one of the numerous unbranded ones available on the market. Anyone with experience with such generic batteries on this model? Withow regards.
Domayen An-Mandi “Anyone with experience with such generic batteries on this model?” those are a definite hit or miss. Some are good some are not. If you decide to go with a generic, make sure it has some sort of guarantee. Personally I’d wait for a known good battery with a good warrantee from iFixit.
