The instructions for replacing a home button include a step where I have to remove the SIM card. My verizon phone doesn’t use a sim card. The functionality is implemented in a different way. Does someone have instructions or experience for THIS type of phone? If not, can I proceed past this point?
@skoski not quite sure which instructions you are using and/or what phone you have. Yes you can safely proceed past this point if you do not have a SIM. Let us know what exact phone you have….on an iPhone the AXXXX number will help us. Update (10/01/2016) @skoski the guide you are using is for the GSM Model A1332 for your CDMA A1349 use this guide. that explains why you had different screws and why it looked different:-)
