My hisense 40h5b tvs internal speakers are not working. They were working just fine until i plugged in speaker system to the audio out. The TV plays thru the speaker system but now when i pull out the cord, the TV does not play anything. I am assuming that the internal speakers are some how disabled but i can not figure out how to re-enable them. I have gone thru all the menu settings and tried turning them on there, resetting to factory settings and even resetting all settings to default. None of this worked. Tried turning off TV, uplugging and holding power button for 30 seconds. I then sat for a minute and then plugged it back in and turned on. Still nothing. Im totally lost. Thanks in advance.
Hi, Silly question but have you got a set of earphones plugged into the earphone socket?
(Click on image to enlarge for better viewing). If not plug in a pair of earphones to verify that the audio is working. (make sure that the TV is on of course and that the volume is turned up, watch your ears if it is too loud. If it works then remove the earphones and see if the TV speakers are working. If not check the audio setting to verify that you have selected the internal speakers as the audio option. Go to Menu > Audio > Advanced audio > TV speaker. Ensure that the settings shows ON.
Ok guys I had a Hisense TV and all of a sudden and no sound at all …. but I found how to fix it really easy…. go to settings. Then advance settings. Then setup wizard and that’s it press ok and follow the instructions of u don’t have internet connection just press skip and your TV will have sound again…. cheers
I switched to BLUETOOTH. Played with it hrs. Comes on few days. Then of course shuts off. PEACE OF JUNK TV only had a year. FIRST CHANCE gonna SHITCAN IT. Buy anything else but HISENSE
Once you go into the audio settings, reset to default settings and it fixed it!
got one today and the sound wasn’t working so I returned it to Wal-Mart and got another one then I realized the sound was working until it updated then sound quit so I’m guessing its the sound driver maybe they will release a patch for this? head phone port works fine though also
I cant get the TV to switch from headphones to speakers. I’ve tried sound reset, no luck. Factory reset, no change. Went through the startup and still no sound. I’ve plugged in headphones, sound if fine but after I remove the headphone jack to little Icon in the upper right still show headphones.
