Hello guys, i replaced my iPad 4 front panel after it was broken but now i have the problem that the new digitizer only reacts at the top and bottom area, in the middle of the screen it doesn’t response. I thought the Digitizer is damaged so i took a new one but same problem only in different areas. What can it be? Is it again maybe a damaged digitizer or maybe a short circuit some where or something else? Really appreciate if you can help me out.
Most likely the digitizers your using are from third party vendors, and you’re having third party problems. I would try a quality digitizer. It is possible that you’ve damaged the alligator connector, while assembling it iPad 4 Screen Digitizer Assembly
