iPad doesn’t recognize chargers, Apple says they don’t repair lightning ports and offered replacement for 250!!! Is it possible to replace lightning port of 6th gen iPad?
Not really..it’s not a plug/unplug part that one can replace. It’s by all means part of the logic board as it’s tin soldered to it, as all other components. Being a microsoldering repair you won’t find a guide, you might find some video on youtube but it won’t be such a great help if you don’t have specific experience.
It is possible, the port is attached to the motherboard, somebody with experience have to take this repair, copper pads are easy to damage when you are de-soldering the old port. iPad 6 Teardown

Most places don’t do this repair. I might attempt it myself…
