Hello, Recently the YouTube app on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.3 stopped working. It worked well when I downloaded the app but it stopped working or will not work everyonce in a while. I know that there is an update for the iPhone 4. However it is not going to get updated to iOS 7. Google recently pulled support on my iPad 1 for the YouTube app and that ticked me off. But the YouTube app is working now it just prompts me with this message every time I open it if I press quit. It crashes.
Unfortunately, there will be no more iOS updates for the iPhone 4. The newer apps will require iOS 7 or 9 to run. If you can get Dolphin browser to run on the iPhone 4, that would solve your problem, as it supports youtube as a website, as well as Flash based websites.
