Chosen Solution

I have an iphone 4s and my battery connector broke while changing the screen I have soldered 3 or 4 back to the logic board. The third solder pad from the left is missing and i read that you can use a single strand cooper wire to bypass the missing solder pad. Where does the bypass wire need to go? I know it needs to go the circuits in from of the connector but which one does it need to be connected to? Sometimes the iphone will load up with the apple boot logo then restart and sometimes it will load up saying the iphone has it 100% percent and other times it will load up saying it has 2% but the fully charged plugged symbol is showing please help

Courtlandt21, see if the attached image will help. No.3 wire connects to the resistor (labelled as A for you) and capacitor (labelled B for you) and you need to bridge the resistor (A)

Hope this helps, good luck.

I know this is old but I am having the same problem, solder pads 2,3 &4 missing from the battery connector Can you double check your post please Turkey,.. or the schematics at least, in the picture it has pin 4 going to ground but I have just got my hands on some schematics and from my understanding pin 4 goes to C294 aswell as ground From my understanding I need to make jumpers as pictured in my upload ? We’ve spoke before via email, I was asking you for advice, not really done any board work since then, this is the 1st “big job” in a long time, any help much appreciated as always Update (06/15/2016)
