Hi everyone! I have an Iphone 5s that is stuck in a bootloop. When i try to recover it in iTunes it gives me error 9. After some close inspection of the board i noticed that one tiny component is nocked off behind the battery connector. It is the 4th one from the right capacitor, 56PF 5% 16V NPO-COG, 01005. Is this capacitor responsable for the bootloop. What are my options here?
No, that capacitor is not responsible for the boot-looping. However, one missing component could be indicative of other missing or partially dislodges components. I would check around all of the connectors and along the edges of the logic board. Why was the phone open and being repaired…that might give us a clue.
Its possible i have longscrew damage in the red circle. Is it possible to have it at that side and what are the symptoms, does anyone know?
