Can I replace an iPhone 5s front camera with an iPhone 5 front camera? Because im using an 5s an its front camera has broken, and I have an motherboard defective iPhone 5. Can I change these cameras?
Not possible, the camera connector for the 5 is behind the logic board and comes with a flashlight together with it while the 5s is on top of the logic board.
Unfortunately it does not look like it is possible. The 5S/SE front camera has a small difference with cable lengths and forms which I would think prevent the cable from reaching the respective connector for the phone. The 5’s camera is also on the rear of the logic board whereas the 5S’s camera is on top of the logic board.
