i changed my iphone 5s screen, now both cameras does not work, open the camera app, the screen is black. also try the flash from control center, i press the flash light, but it would not turn on. I switch with another iphone 5s screen with the front camera and back camera. both cameras work in the other iphone 5s. any other things i can try? or, its a motherboard issue? thanks.
When you changed the screen, did the replacement screen come with the camera already installed or did you transfer it from your broken screen? If it came with camera and sensors, then does the old, cracked screen (and it camera and sensors) work? If the cameras work in another iPhone, then your problem is most likely on the logic board. There is a common LDO (voltage regulator) for the cameras and that could be defective. It could also be the connectors themselves which are damaged.
