Hello Everyone… I cant connect my iPhone to my computer and problem is with USB control IC chip and I was wondering that if it is possible to solder the EMI Shield back into place with a heat gun after removing it . Please someone help Thank you
John Smith, I am not quite following you with this. Yes you can resolder the EMI shield, but use a soldering iron versus a hot air gun. You will have better control over the heat than you would with a hot air gun. My confusion is with the shield and the connection of the USB control IC….Any problem with that IC will not be related to the EMI shields
