I dropped my iphone once and it started acting acting funny (ghost touching, flickering, opening up apps and typing on its own). i dropped it again and now my screen is unresponsive. I cant even unlock the screen i have no control. i tried hard restoring and i restarted my phone a trillion times. i heard something about a digitizer repair but im not sure what the problem is.
yes you just need a new lcd you can either buy it yourself from ebay or amazon or ifixit and install it yourself or go to repair place they will charge like 75 to 99 to fix it
Sounds like a broken LCD digitizer assembly Update (07/29/2016) yes it can be fixed pretty easily. You can get the iphone parts online and use the guide from ifixit. or you can choose an iphone repair center near you.
