Chosen Solution
I have a iPhone 6 that started having random resets after the 10.2 update. Phone was fine before update with no reboot problems. Went thru trouble shooting with crabapple support and went thru all thier trouble shooting steps. Final step was torestored the phone in recovery mode and setup as new phone. This did not fix the problem. Apple refused to admit the software ware could be the problem. From info I have found others are reporting the same rebooting issue with thier iPhone 6. Of course apple said I could buy a new phone as this one Is 30 days out of warranty. Anyone have any suggestions to fix it?
I have been seeing this a lot in my shop the past week… A new battery seems to be the only reliable fix.
The fix was replacing the battery. Apple needs to extend battery replacement to the 6. The software test apple uses to test the battery is not accurate. Replaced battery 1 week ago and 0 resets. Kid at Birmingham Genius Bar and manager acted like a jack$$$. Arregont.
hi my iphone se is randomly restart and it happend all of the sudden . sometimes screen goes with noisy black & white colors and turn of its like freezing or hang and i should do the hard reset to turn it on.i restored it over itunes and dfu mode .i using ios 10.2.1. any help?
